Paola iezzi nasce a Milano sotto il segno dell’ariete. Scura di capelli con gli occhi scuri, è conosciuta per essere “la mora” del duo di sorelle cantanti e produttrici Paola&Chiara. E’ diplomata al Liceo Classico dove come professore di latino, greco e italiano ha il cantautore Roberto Vecchioni.
A quattordici anni inizia a suonare la chitarra e, in seguito a studiare basso elettrico e canto. Sucessivamente si iscrive e frequenta per due anni la Scuola Civica di Milano, studiando contrabbasso classico. Durante gli anni del liceo sono numerose le esperienze, condivise con la sorella, all’interno di diverse band dell’underground Milanese (dal rock al funk); sucessivamente vengono ingaggiate da Claudio Cecchetto per affiancare la pop band “883”, durante il loro tour tra il 1995 e il 1996.
Nel 1997, sempre con la sorella Chiara, fonda il duo Paola&Chiara, vince Sanremo ed inizia una carriera musicale costellata di sucessi che è tutt’ora in piena attività artistica. Paola&Chiara non solo sono due cantanti, ma da sempre sono autrici di tutte le loro canzoni e produttrici artistiche ed esecutive di una buona parte dei loro album. Nel 2007 fondano una loro etichetta discografica (che è anche la loro società di edizioni), che si chiama Trepertre e che dal quel momento produce i dischi del duo.
Dopo dodici anni di attività artistica con la sorella esordisce nel gennaio 2009 con un progetto solista dal titolo  “Alone”, un brano in lingua inglese dalle atmosfere rarefatte black, soul e R&B, di cui è produttrice e autrice di musica e parole. Il progetto fonde la parte musicale con la parte visiva ispirata al mondo della moda e del costume; grande importanza viene data infatti non solamente al servizio fotografico e al video che accompagnano il disco, ma anche all’immagine, sempre curatissima nei dettagli, di tutti i personaggi messi in scena da Paola durante le sue performance “live”.
Durante la sua attività di musicista, Paola, non ha mai smesso di coltivare la sua passione per la fotografia, iniziata all’età di dodici anni con un corso organizzato dal comune di Milano. Oltre a scattare fotografie per passione, per lo più di ritratto, è soprattutto innamorata delle arti visive in generale ed in particolare al connubio tra arte visiva e moda, che ha sempre costantemente affiancato al suo ruolo di artista musicale.
Da queste passioni e da queste esperienze nasce “paolaiezzi.com – box for creatitvity”; un luogo dove trovano spazio progetti creativi di arte, fotografia, moda, musica, design, web ed altro.

Paola Iezzi, an Aries, was born in Milan. Dark-haired with dark eyes, she is known as being the “darked-haired sister” of the singing duo and producers of Paola&Chiara. She has a diploma in humanities, and is a former student of the latin, greek, and italian professor Roberto Vecchioni. At 14, she began playing the guitar and, after, began studying the elctric bass and singing. Afterwards she signed up and did two years of Civics School in Milan, studying classic double bass.During her highschool years she had many experiences, shared with her sister, in various underground Milanese bands (from rock to funk); afterwards the two sisters were approached by Claudio Cecchetto and asked to work alongside the pop band “883″ during their 1995-1996 tour. In 1997, still with her sister Chiara, she created the duo Paola&Chiara, and won Sanremo and started a musical career full of success that is still in full artistic activity. Paola&Chiara are not just two singers, but have also always been writers of their own songs and artistic and executive producers for the majority of their albums. In 2007 they founded their record label (which is also their pubblication company), called Trepertre and that has, from that moment, produced the cds of the duo.
After 12 years of artistic activity with her sister, she performed in January 2009 with a solo project entitled “Alone”, a brand in english with a very rarified black, soul and R&B atmosphere, of which she is producer and songwriter of the music and lyrics. The project fuses the musical part with the visual part that was inspired by the fashion and costume world; as a matter of fact, great importance was given not only to the photo shoot and the video that accompanies the disk, but also to the image, always cured in detail, and to the various characters performed by Paola during her live performances.
During her activity as a musician, Paola never stopped coltivating her passion for photography, which started at the young age of 12 with a class organizzed by the community of Milan. Other than taking photos as a hobby, mostly just portarits, she is above all in love with visual art in general and in particular the ties between visual art and fashion, that has always played its part as a musical artist. From this passion and experience is born “paolaiezzi.com – box for creatitvity”; a place where you can find space for creative art, photography, fashion, music, design, web and other projects.
